I see many people help someone for a problem for free?
Nothing comes free in this world. Why will someone even spend some time helping someone for free? Every one is selfish
Or
Is it a marketing tactic to sell product/service later or to get a client
Or
They really feel happy to help someone which it is difficult to find (very rare nowadays )

I will speak for myself, my experience:

I feel very good helping others and knowing that they can solve their problems or doubts with me, that’s priceless and no, I don't plan to make them my clients.
Try to give back and know how to be grateful, that’s all about! Despite the fact that I didn’t got that help when I started and everything was more difficult, the difficult road has impressive results, trust me ;)

Nothing comes for free in this world, that's right, but if you do the right things, even Santa shows up every year to compensate the good guys.

When you are a member of a community that supports you and brings knowledge, without asking you anything in return—just follow the rules, the perspective changes.

That's all I have to say :)

Oh, yeah one more thing , thank you BHW!

Now that’s all.

It's normal to help others when there's valuable information. At BHW, you find very relevant information on different topics, and if you help, others will also help you when you need it :)

This is an interesting question and something I've thought about too. The idea that “nothing comes for free” is understandable in a world where most things are transactional. But there are several reasons why people might help others without expecting immediate payment or something in return.

Some people help out because they genuinely enjoy helping others. It’s not always about getting something back. Some find fulfillment in sharing their knowledge or solving problems, especially in communities where they can connect with like-minded individuals. Helping can also build goodwill and strengthen relationships, even if there’s no direct transaction involved. It’s about contributing to a positive atmosphere and fostering a sense of community, which in turn can come back in ways you don’t always see immediately.

As for marketing tactics, you’re right that many companies and individuals offer free value as a way to build trust or get noticed. It’s a common strategy in business where you give something useful first—whether it’s advice, content, or a free consultation—to create a relationship that might eventually lead to a sale. It’s a win-win if done right, as it builds rapport and positions them as experts.

But I also believe there are still people out there who just genuinely want to help without any strings attached. It might be rare, but they exist. Sometimes it’s about sharing knowledge because it benefits the community as a whole, or simply because they know what it’s like to be in a tough spot and want to give others a hand.

What do you think—have you encountered more people helping just for the sake of helping, or do you mostly see the marketing side of things?

If no one shared any information (free or not free), then no one would be able to learn anything new. I am not referring to BHW, but rather overall, in the world.
Sharing for free, also sometimes results in learning something new or getting a solution to a problem.
For example, in the Google Ads section of BHW, many members share solutions for free. So, I, for example also share some solutions for free. Now, while I share my solutions, I am also able to read solutions by others, shared for free and some of those solutions may be what solved an issue of mine. So, a collaborative effort in sharing information for free, helps the entire community.
However, ofcourse, not all strategies or techniques can be shared for free. And, for that, there is a Marketplace available, to get access to strategies or techniques, etc.

Well, I see more on the marketing side but I wanted to see more on the helping side.
I think only the one who helps know how it feels thereafter, the feeling cannot be expressed in words. helping someone who is looking to go on a right path or right guidance and not expecting anything in return gives very heartful feelings.
But in real physical life, if you want to get advice no one is going to give you a good advice and even if they advice they don't know anything. Having an advice from like minded people or guidance is very much supportive and is a great help on bhw

Well there are two options, either the person is trying to help others just cause he/she is a good person and genuinely takes "helping others" as his hobby, just like you might be watching tv or doing some sports cause it raises your dopamine, some people get dopamine rush from helping others.

On the other hand world is not that pink, most of the time it is to gain a leverage over person they are helping in the future, most likely they will ask for a payback in a subtle way and the person will feel obliged to help them back.

Every Person His Own Point Of View So We Can't Say Any Thing What's His Choice Help Other's Or Not.

Let's just say, what goes around, comes back. Everything has a cost, either energetically or financially. You do good to others, others will do good to you.

nothing is free
there is always something behind those happy smiles :D

Some people help to provide value, some out of kindness and empathy, some for networking, and others to show off.

Some people are happy to help others for free some people are not. Its just who you are

Some people might want to sell service but there are very few people who believes in helping community back. There might be a time when they were struggling with proper resources, information overload, networking with right people, money and guidance. So it also gives people peace of mind, when they see others also succeeding.

And, there is a possibility that if we can create a positive atmosphere around us, we can learn from each other and grow even faster. This way if you help others, good things come back to you in positive way.

For example, you came to know about a trick which you are not aware of, and any other person has experimented it and got good results. Internet marketing is huge and no one is expert of every platform. What is working now, may not work tomorrow. Tactics changes fast and learning in right way is more important. So sharing knowledge will gain more, trust, credibility and opportunities.

Being helpful attracts success.
Success attracts envy.
Envy attracts losers.
Losers attract noise.
Noise attracts attention.
Attention attracts success.

Everyone gets something from helping others.
I've helped others, and have been able to learn things from them or also learn things from myself.

But sometimes, it's just good to help.
Sometimes, if you see someone struggling, it may remind you of yourself, and you may feel the need to help.

The BHW forum shares practical, real world knowledge, Simply put, I find joy in doing it every day, and it's also a way for me to recall the knowledge I already have.

You're right it's not free. I enjoy doing it, so I get some personal satisfaction back. Also you make friends along the way so even if the reward isn't money, there's always something good in return for helping others.

I think both types are right, sometimes it's just charity and sometimes it's service advertising.
