Hi BHW,

After years of lurking and learning, I finally decided to get involved and contribute more actively.
I'm here to keep learning from the experienced members, invest in quality services, and eventually give back as I level up.

A bit about me:
I've been working in gambling SEO for over 6 years. Along the way, I picked up some practical coding and IT skills — mostly building my own tools in Python and customizing WordPress installs with PHP when needed. I'm by no means a developer; I just like to tweak and self-host things when it helps the marketing side.

Looking forward to connecting with the community and growing alongside it.
Appreciate all the value that’s already been shared here.

Thanks!

Welcome to BHW! It’s awesome to have someone with your experience join. Looking forward to learning from you and seeing you grow in the community!

welcome. Here's my advice to you. Start taking massive action. If you can, build your personal brand. I assume you are introvert and hard core engineer. That is awesome but if you can build a personal brand, you will earn a lot. Good luck sir

Welcome to the forums. Have you found it easier or harder in 2025 to promote gambling-type offers? seems like there are a lot more gambling ads around these days.

Welcome aboard!
With your background in SEO and coding, I’m sure you’ll bring a lot of value here. Looking forward to learning from your experience too!

Thanks for the advice. You're right — I'm definitely not Mr. Popularity. I don’t even have a LinkedIn account, and honestly, I don’t plan on building one anytime soon. Personal branding works for a lot of people, but right now I’m focused on building systems and assets that generate results without needing me to be the face of anything. My long-term goal is to stay detached from daily operations and let the assets work independently.

Appreciate the push, though — I’ll keep taking action, just in a way that fits my style and long-term vision.

I understand . You can have both. Trust creates lot of sales. You can create systems and all that. Thats your core strength. Thinking deeply and creating systems.
But sooner or later, you will realise , world is filled with stupid people. The real issue of intelligent people is they dont when to switch off intelligence. Lot of times, you have to come down to interact, understand common man's world.

You will see ton of mediocre people , selling incredible amount of stuff because they can face the camera. My gripe with intelligent people is they are not confident enough to face camera.

I am not saying you should face camera or become popular. I am just sharing my thoughts. I hope you achieve your dreams.

Thanks, glad to finally be here.

It’s definitely harder now — especially in the U.S., where it’s like playing on hardcore mode. Big public companies are throwing crazy money at ads, and with looser regulations compared to the UK, SEOs are fighting over a much smaller piece of the pie.

In emerging markets though, it still feels like the U.S. 10–15 years ago in terms of ranking difficulty — easier to rank, but the payouts are much smaller.

You're absolutely right.

I've seen so many snake oil salesmen popping up on YouTube lately — all flash, no nuance. I completely agree that we need more people putting out sensible, well-thought-out content to help cut through the noise.

Thanks for your input and good luck to you too.

Snake oil salesman comes up because world wants shortcut. These people are filling the demand. I know , a real person like you will have life long business and much more satisfaction. I sometime wonder what will happen if someone possess skills of extrovert and also skills of introvert engineering. He can become very very rich.

Anyway, my last post. Good luck with your journey.
