Does it help to buy anything on Reddit to avoid getting banned

I had this idea for a while but no means to test it. I was wondering if you buy Reddit premium or an avatar maybe does it somehow impact the life of a Reddit account? Or does it have no impact?

Would like to hear from people who tried this and maybe avoided shadow bans.

It should have positive impact, by how much I dont know. I am sure those who pay money will be treated differently. First of all, you showed you are real person and not spammy. You did pay money, that do puts you in separate queue.

i honestly was thinking the same thing but never tried. but i think at the end of the way its more about their hidden CQS karma and reCAPTCHA v3 (assuming you are already using anti detect and high quality proxies)

I have suspicion on anti detect browsers as well. I have a feeling reddit catches them better than other players.

From my tests, buying stuff doesn’t seem to protect against bans, moderators focus on your activity, not purchases.

I bought premium on one account thinking this and got banned on first post, way before all these new spam filters were put in place.

its not a certainty you will become ban resistant, only those celebrity accounts who do ama have privileges like that. just like the right wing actor, pushing his propaganda of vets.

Doesn't work. I got premium and run ads. They still banned my account for no reason I know of. Not even spamming. Just managing my own subreddit. They banned me and my subreddit. And support is not helpful. I paid them for ads and they can't even help.

Speaking from first-hand experience I can confidently say that it does not.
