Hey everybody,
I started my youtube channel about 10 days ago. Channel was created few years back, and was never used for anything except browsing. I uploaded my first short on 17th, and it went well. It got views constantly for about 4 days, and it died at:
- 16.5k,
- 72% stayed to watch
- 90% average watched...
I know it's totally normal for shorts to day after gaining some traction, especially in the beginning.

My second video was uploaded 3 days after that, and I uploaded it at the same time my first video took off to try and catch that wave again. It got 120 views, 55% stayed to watch with 100% average watched. Third and Fourth videos were uploaded 3 days apart from each other, and both got literally 0 views...

Why did this happened? Am I being shadow banned? Should I stop uploading, change account or something else? Any kind of help is much appreciated.

Do not get disappointed with zero views. Your two videos getting zero videos means earlier uploaded content is not liked by shown people. Just improve the content quality.

Hi,

No, you're not shadowbanned.
It's normal for new videos to get fewer views sometimes. Shorts can be random at the start.
YouTube is still trying to figure out your channel and where to show your videos.
Low views on a few videos doesn’t mean you should stop — it happens to everyone!

its just maybe your first couple were lucky/good and the others were bad/unlucky. Don't try to guess anything else, upload a viral meme trend long form funny short animation as a test, you should definitely get visits, if it's got a funny element to it.

Then you can score off it's not the channel the problem. I would only stop YouTube if my last 20 videos got no views, and so far, never came close to any of my videos staying at 0 views for too long.
