I am wondering do the 50+ DR domains have any value? The domain has no google penalites or manual actions that i can see in GSC. I am wondering am I safe to experiment and redirect it myself ? Just experimenting, maybe with a empty box using semantics

if the domain has a clean record and solid DR, it's definitely worth experimenting with. Just ease into it and monitor everything closely. Starting with a simple setup like you're planning is a smart move. Keep us posted on how it works out.

cool i actual bought 2 both near niche. Both clean on GSC. It is always hard to tell what they were doing. The other one is a 92DR for something entertainement. Built like a tool website with relevant and them spamming anything high DR.

i will push at what links to money... not the money and see what happens

I do have one extra question. If you have a high DR domain but the backlinks on it are kind of shady, ***is it worth it to build a website on it and use it as a backlink?*** Sorry for newb question...I dont want to 301 one of these, the 92DR actually these backlinks 3mil of them are a bit to sketchy

A 50+ DR domain can have value if it has no penalties, but proceed with caution when redirecting, especially with experimental tactics, to avoid potential risks.

A clean 50+ DR domain can still hold value—safe to experiment with redirects if there are no penalties, just monitor results closely

Yes, that could really help your SEO, but just check the domain's backlink profile to make sure you're getting links from sites that are relevant to yours.

Yes, a DR 50+ domain with no penalties can still be valuable—safe to test redirects just ensure relevance and track performance

You can use Ahrefs tools ti check how much the reffering pages and do-follow backlinks the domain have, the more of them the more juice you get, Imo

Yes, a 50+ DR domain without penalties can have value, and it's generally safe to experiment with redirects if you're cautious.

Yes, you can try to experiment with the 50+ DR domains if you do not see any Google penalties or manual actions in GSC. Redirecting it yourself could be safe. Consider using an empty box with semantics to test your experiment.

If the domain is clean and has good metrics, experimenting with a 50+ DR domain could be a valuable SEO test!

You can create an empty but well-structured site (using schema, topical clusters, etc.) and redirect the old domain into it to see how Google treats authority + semantics. Use Wayback Machine and archive.today to check historical content before redirecting.
