Many people are into crypto, but most just trade and hold. Now, the space is clearly shifting toward DeFi a financial without middlemen, where you're in full control of your assets. You can lend, borrow, and stake freely, all on-chain and without paperwork.

Projects like Dolomite are leading this shift. It’s a decentralized trading and lending platform supporting 1,000+ assets, with over $775M in volume and $125M TVL. You keep your governance and staking rights, and it’s fully mobile-friendly.

With deposits of it native token DOLO now open on Bitget, it’s clear DeFi is becoming the heart of Web3.

What’s your take is DeFi the real future?

I like the idea of DeFi but gas fees on Ethereum still kill the vibe for small users.

It's still early and risks are there. Smart contract bugs, rug pulls, and regulatory heat. If the space keeps improving in security and user experience, DeFi could fully take over.

Yes, I get you, buddy. Rug pulls are a different story in DeFi. Contract bugs, as you said, will likely get fixed over time. For me, I'm more focused on the DeFi aspect, particularly projects with strong utility.

I think DeFi definitely has potential. Being in control of your assets without middlemen is super appealing. Projects like Dolomite show how decentralized finance is growing. It’s still a bit risky, but it’s clear DeFi is becoming a key part of the future of finance. I’m excited to see where it goes!

I am trying to get into crypto since a loooong time but seems like Defi is risky

You should start from hr basics..stuff like airdrops etc, you can check Bitget academy for some learning courses and hold tokens that'll reward you like Bgb.

DeFi ( is undeniably a major pillar of the Web3 ecosystem and a likely cornerstone of the future of finance especially for those seeking open, permissionless alternatives to traditional banking.
