Hi BHWer's! I need to figure out a way to track offline sales that came from Facebook ads. So my process is run a sales ad to messenger and have a virtual receptionist book interested leads from the ad. They then add those leads to a spreadsheet. Now how can I set those leads from the spreadsheet become a custom conversion inside Facebook Ads manager so that I can calculate the ROI for my ad campaigns?

You can go to the customer's mess that you want to work with. Then click on the create order button as shown. Enter the amount of money. Then on the ad, turn on the sales column. You will measure ROI. It will take about 30 minutes for the data to appear in the ad manager.

Yo bro, sounds like you’ve got a decent flow already with leads going to Messenger and getting booked manually. The missing link here is just syncing those offline conversions back into FB so the pixel knows what’s working.

Easiest way to do this: use Facebook’s Offline Events feature. You just take that spreadsheet your receptionist fills out, format it with FB’s required fields (name, phone, email, event time, etc), and upload it manually or via the API. FB will match those leads to the users who clicked your ad and show you which ones converted.

You won’t get 100% match rate, but you’ll have a clearer picture of which ads are actually bringing you sales. If you want to automate this process fully or connect your sheet to FB directly, tools like Zapier, LeadsBridge, or a custom webhook can do it.

There are many features for this in the Facebook message box, you can check there
