New expired website, two questions

Hi everyone, I bought an expiring domain (the registration date on the whois is still in 2021). I changed niche completely and started publishing 5-10 posts per day. I noticed that the main pages (Privacy, Terms, About Us etc.) have been indexed and 3 posts have also been indexed (one is already on the second page in the search results !).

Should I let the old indexed pages that have nothing to do with the site die and Google will remove them? Or should I do a 301 redirect to the home page?

If the old pages aren’t relevant and have no SEO value, let them 404 or 410. Google will drop them over time. Don’t 301 to the homepage unless you’re reusing the content or keeping SEO value. Keep up the good work!

making redirect to the homepage is the best to gain more search engine traffics and it's encourage not to remove the index pages on Google to assist on your new project.

Just redirect all pages to your homepage, it keeps your traffic and improve your sites performance.

Be wary of one thing: According to the current status, the algorithm is monitoring site suplantation. This means, that if Google algo detects that the previous topic is completely unrelated to the new topic, you will get shadow banned to death
So, ideally you should be restore the best you can old pages, and integrating your content within the previous content topic the best you can also.

Let the irrelevant old pages 404 or use a 410 status. Don’t redirect them to the homepage as it can confuse Google. Only redirect valuable pages with backlinks to relevant content. Continue to focus on creating new, high-quality posts.
