Smoking is a scam!

Quit smoking and alcohol a few yrs ago, never looked back. I hate it from my guts, no beers, no shisha, no Andrew Tate fuckery with cigars, fuck it. I avoid it like plague. I've made a personal rule, what I can't control I don't touch. I've switch it to good habits with gym, meditation, journaling, reading etc.

Congrats on this!!! For some, it's really difficult to admit that it's getting a problem, what more deciding to stop it.

Start building other habits before quiting. Add something that at the right moment you can replace the smoking. Start for example with cold showers, it's a habit that build resilient and resistance. It builds inner strength.

I started for fun, too like a lot of other smokers. Then I encountered some bad shit in life. Did it more and more often. Then I realized this is not the right thing to do. I should not smoke in hard situations. It was like a sign of weakness for me. I dunno when and why but I started to smoke again. Till I realized I'm really a smoker now. I carry a pack with me everywhere. I got angry because of this. Went to a trip to see a friend. Didn't smoke there.
It was only 3 days but I continued to avoid it afterwards. It is about 8 months that I don't smoke. The strange thing is I still miss it after this time. I can say almost every single night.

I never had a cigarette before my friend suggested me to try it. he said it will make you feel good and right now I am a chain smoker:weep:

15 days, 6 hours, 25 minutes and 32 seconds without smoking  probs the best decission i ever made

So...I had my first cigarettes' when I was 26-27 I think.

After stressing the hell out from work, I though it would calm my nerves down and etc. And for a short time it did.

Time to time I used to buy em, then I stated to realize that I was getting hooked on it, and recently even woke up with pain in my lungs.

And when I am working hard, now I feel urge to smoke.

But guess what, I am one tough mofo)) not gonna smoke ever again screw that. Some thing to control me? not now, and not ever.

So, why is it a scam? they sell you the idea that it calms u down and etc. Make it look cool, promote in every which way, sponsor all sorts of crap, it's a trillion dollar industry so, yeah they can and they do.

This thing is ( not a news ) it's addictive and if you are smoking, I challenge you to drop it for few months if you can, make that last for lifetime.
The problem is that you associate it with a relaxing break in between your work so everytime you are stressed at work you tend to think that a cigarette would be calming you down. Great job that you stopped smoking is really the worst!

Smoking makes you look cool.

I'm sorry kids, it was true in the 90s and it is still true today.

It may be bad for your health but just think of what it can do for your reputation.

I'm just kidding, but still, fuck anyone talking down on someone for smoking, there are far more anti social habits that you could be doing with your time.

Nice setup casinos are a tough but profitable vertical if you handle compliance and payments right, and vapes are doable too but you’ll need high-risk processors and strict age verification. If you’re looking for a mentor, I’d recommend finding someone who has verifiable case studies (real ROAS screenshots, client refs) and experience with compliance in those niches.

Quick checklist of what to ask a potential mentor:
• Proof of results (screenshots + conversion metrics)
• Which ad channels & creatives they actually scale in (organic vs paid split)
• Payment/merchant setup experience (high-risk processors, chargeback mitigation)
• Geo and legal restrictions they’ve navigated (age-gates, T&Cs)
• How they structure account hygiene and scaling (BM, pixels, pixel/CAPI)
• Fees / revenue share / mentorship terms

If you want, I help match you with mentors or walk you through what a good mentorship should look like DM me and tell me your budget and which market (GEO) you want to scale and I’ll share a couple of vetted options and what to expect.

I agree with you. Read the Allen Car’s book about smoking and see smoking is a scam

After smoking for five years, I quit during the coronavirus lockdown. I started again three months ago, and I'm smoking now. Sometimes it feels good, sometimes it feels bad. I don't think quitting smoking is beneficial unless you replace it with a beneficial habit like exercise. Life is all about habits, sir.

props to you for quitting, that’s a tough move. it’s wild how cigarettes sneak up on you, one day it is just for stress and next thing you know it’s a habit. you are totally right, the whole “calms you down” thing is such a scam. stay strong, your body’s gonna love you for it
