Wyoming LLC vs HK LTD?

I would recommend: Singapore, Dubai or Hong Kong. For the US, I don't really know much.

I have setup my company in Hong Kong and it was very easy. Getting a real bank account (HSBC etc.) can be difficult, but you can simply use another provider. Right now I am using Currenxie and they are fantastic and also cheap. One guy above mentioned Statrys but the $50 is a big no for me. Its either no monthly fees or a real bank account. At this point I could easily make a real bank account with a bank, but I just stick to Currenxie because its super easy.

The entire setup for the HK company took maybe 10 days and I wasn't there. Everything was done online.

Would I do it again in HK? Hmm...I think I would choose Dubai eventually.

Btw. I never had any problem with any payment provider or service. Facebook, Google ads, Adsense, Apple, Unity, Paypal, Stripe, etc. all is working perfectly fine and no one ever asked me to provide additional information or anything.

The only downside is that for some services like TikTok ads, OpenAI APIs, Claude, etc. they don't offer their service to HK companies because of political reason. In this regard, Singapore is much safer and better.

Thanks for the detailed reply, very helpful. Ive been advised airwallax is great for HK banking. As for the downsides (tt ads, open AI, etc) - could be worth keeping my UK LTD around to handle this sort of stuff and invoice a HK LTD.

Ive heard Dubai is good but requires residency and I don't want to move there at the moment or even spend X months there. Maybe one day. As for Singapore the tax is a lot higher than HK.

You can apply for airwallex payment gateways they didnt ask alot

Also payoneer payment gateway accept only hongkong company as well you can apply for stripe

Hong kong cimpany cost more than llc or uk

Thanks for the response! Yeah you pay more to start up the company but you should save a lot more money from tax vs the UK if you're earning past a certain amount

I'm researching similar stuff. I see Ohio come up at llcuniversity. They say due to no annual reporting, Ohio is a better option compared to Wyoming. Anyone register in Ohio?

I'm also in grey digital subscription business. Got banned from stripe and i really look for a more stable payment processor to scale (Customer base also in Europe so your post interest me a lot ! ). Where did you create a company and what payment processor did you choose ?

For company setup Osome is okay, but do NOT use them for audit or bookkeeping. For me, they missed deadlines (failed to hand in documents on time to the financial authorities) for 3 years in a row (!). I am not kidding you, for three years, they failed every single year. Every year I got letters from the government threatening to punish me.

The worst thing is: Because this happened for two years in a row already, I messaged them every month and asked them how is the work, I told them the past two years the deadlines have been missed and this year they have to be on time. Guess what? They still missed. Now I have to pay a penalty fee...and they don't want to take any responsibility or accountability. Do not use them.
