If you want more people to view or interact with your reels or post, you have to use mainstream media such as songs, beats, trends that can entice viewers to share it once they see your reels. Another suggestion would be to use hashtags that is appropriate for the reel that you posted, with this you can reach more people and the right market.

A few things you can do to boost that is posting consistently, not to the point of spam but post daily. Hashtags get you far since the algo has an easier time pushing content if it already partly knows who to push it to. Well edited content also goes a long way. If you have a specific target audience, try to see what time they're usually most active. Also and I say this often, avoid posting non niche related content on your Reels. Hurts your reach some. Oh yeah, engage with others in your same niche, it helps.

There are 2 main ways I think people usually go about increasing Reels views.
First is the direct approach.
You can buy views to push the numbers quickly. Just be careful with where you buy from to avoid fake or low-quality engagement. Another method is buying pre-made IG accounts and managing them with an antidetect browser (like multilogin, hidemyacc, etc.). Warm them up, then use those to watch and interact with your own content at scale. It takes more time, but gives you more control.
Second is the organic way.
If you're aiming for real growth, here are a few tips:

• Use trending sounds and keep your Reels short and punchy.
• Post consistently and stick to one niche so the algorithm can understand your content.
• Write engaging captions that spark curiosity or invite responses.
• Hashtags matter – mix broad and niche ones. Don’t just use the biggest ones.
• Hook your viewer in the first 1–2 seconds – that’s when people decide to scroll or stay.

I just answered a similar question to yours, this was my answer: Your content should provide value, but it also needs to entertain.


At the beginning, short and direct Reels between 7 and 30 seconds are the best way to reach new audiences always keep in mind that after a certain length (I believe it's around 3 minutes), Instagram mostly shows your video only to your existing followers.


Use strong hooks in the first few seconds, subtitles on screen, and include plenty of calls to action focused on sharing and saving the post.


I know hashtags have changed a bit — now it’s better to use around 5 to 10 well-targeted hashtags, rather than a bunch of general ones.


As for posting frequency, I think it’s really a matter of trial and error. Some people say you should post daily, others say 3 to 5 times a week but what’s clear is that the algorithm rewards accounts that stay active and don’t disappear.


And definitely: use Stories a lot
