I just wanted to take a moment to address something that has been bothering me lately, and I really need to get it off my chest. Some of the following statements are a paraphrase of a couple of posts I made on a recent thread, so for those who already read it, please bear with me. I wish to address the entire forum now.

I have noticed a very undesireable "trend" taking place in BHW. Actually it's not new, but it has become more prevalent as of lately.

I have noticed that there a quite a number of individuals who do nothing but go around making negative comments about download posts made - not only by me, but by nearly all of my fellow B-Hatters who are putting forth the effort to post downloads. What is interesting is that almost all of these negative comments are coming from individuals who have made very few or even NO offerings themselves. In their posts, they make comments like, "That sux!" or "That's the biggest piece of crap ever" and on and on, ad infinitum. They are arrogant, non-contributing, armchair "critics" who are filled with themselves and who use this forum as nothing more than an information/software "cow" that they just milk for all it is worth and crap on what they can't use.

Now don't get me wrong - When it comes to download thread comments, I don't mind "constructive criticism". If an individual has found, through their experience, that a particular ebook or piece of software in not effective or outdated, please tell us your experience with it. THAT is helpful. But to say "That sux" or "That's just a piece of crap" is demeaning to the person who contributed that post and offers nothing to anyone except to the commenters own inflated ego. And I'll let you in on something, it starts making posters like myself think "What the hell is the use of posting! - I'm certainly not a glutton for punishment."

I mean, I've even seen people who have been on this forum since 2007 with only 1 post or even no contributions at all. Yet they have no problem requesting specific downloads and crapping on ones that don't particularly appeal to their vast, superior knowledge base.

Granted, new members are expected not to have a very sizeable amount of posts, but individuals who have been here for over five or six months should have contributed SOMETHING by now. If we were all like those individuals, there would be very little content on this forum - in fact, there would probably be NO forum.

It is important to mention here that when I speak about contributions, I am not speaking only of downloads. I realize and fully appreciate the value of those who share their ideas and methods, which are, for the most part, even more important than downloads. But since I am not as experienced or as knowledgeable as many those who post info, I have made it my sel-assigned task to post downloads. At least, that way, I feel I am contributing something to the forum. Granted, not all of my posts will be the top-of-the-line, latest, greatest software and ebooks. In fact, I try to take newbies into consideration as well when I make posts. And I don't care if the "leets" like it or not. This forum is not just for the "big dogs" - it's for people on ALL levels if Internet Marketing.

Finally, I'd like to state here-and-now that if I see any more of these negative, demeaning comments on threads anywhere on this forum, I WILL make a post on that thread and let that individual know that those types of comments are of no value at all. And I suggest to all of the many friends on this forum to do the same. We need to stop this scourge of negative nay-sayers in their tracks so that people who wish to make contributions do not feel hesitant to do so, for fear of being ripped-down by some non-contributing leech.

I made this post so that certain individuals would begin taking a good look at themselves and ask "What am I giving to this forum", instead of what am I taking. This forum is all about give and take. It needs both to survive, but if one only takes, what is his/her value?

That's too bad. I'm trying to stay away from downloads because they detract me from making money, but that's not to say that I don't succumb to the urge now and then. Having said that, I agree that comments should be kept to constructive information about why a particular download is good or bad. Posters should have a little respect for those who work to make these items available for 'review'.

BTW - I couldn't help but notice how much stuff you've made available to the forum. People should be thanking you.

I know we had that scuffle over the image tm issues before, but i'm with you on this one. You put up some great shares which makes you a true asset here, the haters are just pathetic leeches who take their opportunities for granted. Most importantly the contributors who share methods, information, help, etc are above this petty shit.

All you guys have to do is report a post and if we see something out of line we'll at the least delete their posts, worst give a temp ban if they are constantly being an outright dickhead. Keep it up, this place is on fire.

Exactly right after BHW was down because of the level 3 douchbags I noticed a bunch of brand new people making a lot of stupid, worthless and negative comments.

Since they are unable to shut us down, I thought perhaps they are trying to sabotage us from the inside. Just a thought.

I don't pay attention to these posters. I certainly don't let their comments affect how I view you or your posts. In my experience, these people are usually kids rebelling at their parents.

They feel a need to shout to the universe, "I exist! You don't control me!" but they can't shout anything intelligent because they haven't really learned anything yet.

So they bash stuff in order to fake it. They fake learning they don't have and hope they will be accepted as intelligent in a community of smart people like BHW. (Their parents probably accept them as many things, but intelligent is not one of them.)

I would bet a whole lot of money (and I know I would win) that most of these posters are not bad kids, but good kids with bad habits. They just don't have many ideas about how to fill a hole inside them that keeps growing.

(Man, am I getting on a preaching roll these days... )

Anyway, don't let them get you down. People like me don't even notice their comments. I would also bet that the BHW heavies basically feel the same, although I don't speak for them. They speak for themselves.

I can't stand people who give Noob such a bad name. I know I am a lurker here and haven't contributed really anything. I really don't know what I can contribute. I am out of my league with posting up downloads ( everything worthwhile is already here or banned from posting up) and don't know anything to share. So I give you my respect, thanks, and some bucks to the forum. Please don't let your sharing stop because of the idiots.

I agree wholeheartedly WizGizmo. Its actually quite annoying to see posts where some retard is boosting his/her post count with negative comments when the contributor is actually attempting to give service to others. I guess there will aways be those types of people who have nothing better than to put down the good will of the majority who come here, but I think they do themselves a disservice in the long run.

Couldn't agree more. The simple fact that here at BHW we all get a chance to 'review' a product before we part with our hard earned money speaks volumes. I'll bet that many of the posts in question are probably from people who didn't even read or attempt to apply the information or software. They just heard from somewhere else that it was crap.

To actually try the methods or software and then post your opinion from your own results or experience is beneficial to all. Not to mention, someone who is getting results from the product can possibly offer some advice or a different twist to make it profitable.

I really don't get the haters, if you don't like s certain download then move on, or when it is really a piece of shit make a comment but respect the poster ho made the effort to share it, yes even when it is a shitty ebook or software, the next share of this person could sent you on your money train.

Maybe we should just flag those comments that Wizz is talking about and weed out those ungrateful motherfuckers and ban their asses, we don't need them if they can control them self.
