Human vs AI Captcha Solver

I'm considering the differences and pros/cons of both Human and AI captcha solvers.

Here's what the pros and cons able to come up with for Human solvers:

Human - Pros:

1. Versatile
2. Can adapt to new captchas
3. No need to train AI every time
4. Robust

Human - Cons:

1. More expensive
2. Slower
3. Less accurate

Here's what I'm able to come up with for AI powered solvers:

AI - Pros:

1. Fast
2. Accurate
3. Cheap

AI - Cons:

1. Constantly need to be updated for new challenges
2. Not as much variety due to technical overhead

In the age of AI, I still see a place for human powered captcha solvers. What do you think?

More error prone than current AI? That is certainly debatable!

OP I usually keep a human-powered captcha service as backup to clean up the stuff that defies automated solvers.

When solving a captcha, when you couldn’t select the traffic lights or pedestrian crossings, I guess you never went crazy
