1. Maybe, the summer is coming so people read/search BHW less.
2. Maybe, another google update impacted BHW rankings (doubt so).

So, if such a big website like BHW has huge swings in traffic... what should small/medium publishers expect from Google?

It's Ahref, Semrush says different, neil patel says different, but yes. Many other traffic messure services says about downfall

Me and my fellow virgins singlehandedly increase the traffic in February.

We cry and yearn for the warm embrace of a gf.

Seems like the forum is losing engagement or maybe some competitors are making a dent in bhw traffic.

So there was a time BHW was hitting 1.4m monthly search visits. That's super huge. Add that to direct visitors.

BHW is a super massive website.

Maybe the AI spam? A lot of the time I'll visit BHW, scroll a few threads and get put off by all the low effort ChatGPT responses and not want to engage. LLM garbage is terrible for forums.

Only BHW's owner can uncover this, as he has access to the “real” data. However, I don’t think that the loss in traffic is serious. Almost 100% of BHW traffic comes from SEO, and fluctuations like this happen every now and then in the SEO world. Analyzing just three months of data does not provide a complete picture; a broader timeframe (+24 months) would offer a better understanding of the situation.



As you can see, the traffic experiences ups and downs, but over the long term, it is growing. If you have any serious business here, you should only be worried if the traffic drops below 400k, or even 200k. (in the worst-case scenario).
