Do I really need a UI for a Twitter Tool to beat the competition?

Let's suppose I'm gonna launch an All-in-on Twitter bot like Twitterdub or other Tools in the market. Currently it's an Terminal menu based bot with identical features to Twitterdub and others.
The question is "Do I really need a GUI based tool to compete or the only thing that matters is features of the tool"?

I was making GUI bot and it was nightmare. Never again
Also terminal bots can run on tosters and VPS
For me terminal is better and faster to use

I've always gotten better with gui's, when i first started i would just sell scripts with no ui but ultimately ended up there because of user marketability, meaning only advanced super users don't mind if there are is no ui, but your regular user will not want that..

a good well thought of GUI would do well seeing how many people struggle with other bots

Depends. I would say both matters. Some people doesn't care, others are clueless when they can't tick boxes... Heck, even now, there are people who would rather spend a monthly subscription on something like SuSocial rather than one-time payment for TwitterDub, just because the latter looks like a tool from the early 2000s.

People are not going to use a cli, most wouldn't even know how to use one.

It's essential you have a ui. It need not be native desktop. You can start a local web server and serve the ui as a local web page.

I think I should consider adding a UI. I almost done with console menu based bot I think I should take some more time to develop the UI.
