Creating reviews and extra user content for your business listing will help increase your rankings a great deal. If you're going to fake reviews, I'd advise not doing them all at once and switching IPs between every review.

IMHO - here are some tips you could try out...

1. Make sure that your place name is prominent in your heading tags.
2. Make sure that your place name is mentioned in on-page text blocks.
3. Get one or two inbound links from other sites that include the place name.
4. Include pictures of local scenery, landmarks, etc. so your alt tags will have relevant matches.
