The average person around the world does not have any money in stocks.
Also where is the money right now. It's not that the money is gone. Stock market has nothing to do with reality. It will be back because that's how it goes since centuries.
Countries will make concessions because their economy suffer if they don't export to the US. It's pretty simple. Also, companies will come back to the US in the long run if the tarrifs are kept up and local US manufacturing can be competitive because of the tariffs.
Free trade did not work for the commoner.
