Hey everyone, SEO newbie here—been reading a lot, hearing even more…

I’ve just launched an e-commerce store in the testosterone niche. My first attempt didn’t perform well, so I rebuilt everything from scratch using Bricks to optimize for performance. Currently hitting 99% average on desktop and over 90% on mobile according to Google Web Dev.

It’s not just a shop—I also built a knowledge blog with it. Topics like safe stacking, dosing protocols, combinations, etc. I launched 30 well-designed articles with the site: clean layout, proper tags and categories, compressed WebP images—the full package.

Here’s the wild part: 4 days after launch, a few of my articles hit #1 on Google. Not just page one—position one, for solid German keywords like “Combine steroids safe.” Traffic started flowing in much quicker than I expected. Not all articles perform yet, but some definitely get traction.

Now, I’ve heard you’re “not supposed” to publish more than 2 articles per week for SEO, but I’m ready to push harder—thinking 2 per day, fully researched, 1500+ words, organized with structure, visuals, proper on-page SEO—the works.

My market is competitive, but most competitors have outdated and poorly optimized sites. Mine, on the other hand, is modern, fast, mobile-friendly, and frankly, leagues ahead in both performance and design. Google seems to agree.

So, mirror mirror on the wall (Not Disneys newest flop lol), how many articles should I publish per week or per day to keep scaling without triggering any SEO penalties? Is 2 per week good? Is it realistic to get nothing, or even punishment if i write 1 per day, when i have already 30?

Also—I’m actively looking for a legit SEO mentor or consultant. Someone with proven results, who actually knows what they’re doing. Willing to pay well—European rates or above—for the right guidance.

(My other pages have over 95% on mobile, its just the landing page with like 8 sections+products, etc)

My suggestion is to step back for a second and think!

You said your getting traffic much quicker than expected. This means you luckily produced some content that satisfies intent, with little competition.

The next several pieces of content you add to your site, should be crafted to reinforce this.
This is the new niche of your website in my eyes, forget everything else, and become the go to for that very narrow strip of information.

Dig in and consolidate your position.

Thats why i wrote this threat, because with my last try (other store) i optimized so much i went from page 2 to page 4.

i figured out already why this article was so much better then the others (all wrote with Grok after the same script and a masterplan with 50 titles).

I do not intent to spam my blog now, but i want to add more of that, what provenly works.

Still question is how often i can do this? Some say 4-5 Articles a day is no problem, other swear that more than 2-3 per week will damage my site.

Publishing rate is not a ranking factor. Especially, if it's high quality. (newbie mistake)

When I said dig in, you completely missed the point.

Now I know your keyword and how you created the content. (even structure)

Would a piece of content reviewed by a creditable (and searchable) doctor out rank you?

How about one that extended the information in that page with original tests, photos, surveys, real patient feedback...

You used one method to find the traffic, now you have to work hard to keep it.

Churn and burn, or pivot and bank.

I don't see any problem if you are willing to create and publish 2 high quality articles per day. The problem people are generally talking about is related to AI low quality articles, people are publishing 100s of those articles per day, that's the problem. If your content is good, you can post 2 articles per day, not a problem.

It is not an issue making two quality per weak I guess
yeah but i made 30 from which 3 are quality enough to get listed #1 in results (4 days after index), and some page 1, place 3-10 - in one day. i dont want to say i should make 30 more tomorrow. but i could, in like 2-3 hours. obviously thats not a good idea - i heard.

but i prepared my webdesign in a way that i just have to copy paste the text with my prompt and it looks good. average reading time is 4,5 minutes so far. so its good for google, good for the readers (should be 5-6 minutes reading time according to tools). i guess nobody ready everything lol.

in my opintion, if its not leading to punishment, there is no reason not to write 5 articles a day, that each bring me new people through new long tail and mid tail keywords. or do i get something wrong?

Whats the fucking right spot? where google squirts visitors all over my site?

yeah that makes much more sense actually. but do you got some experience in that or its just a guess? because sometimes its better to do nothing, than to overoptimize (my last store went from page 2, result 1-5 to page 4..... after i thought "yeah lets optimize hard, im close to page 1"

  1. Write 1 Article
Include 2–5 long-tail keywords that are easy to target.
  2. Build 4 Guest Post Backlinks to That Article URL:
  • 1 with a raw/naked URL (e.g., https://yourdomain.com/article)
  • 1 with a generic anchor (e.g., "click here", "source", "see more")
  • 1 with an exact-match long-tail keyword (ideally the one with the highest search volume)
  • 1 with a semi-match using the domain name as anchor text
  1. Link Profile Tip:
Make sure over 50% of all backlinks to your homepage use branded, naked, generic, random, or even slightly misspelled anchor texts.
Sum it up: Multiple this with your weekly budget and you have a match. Good luck in your journey!

But as far as i can read, it sounds youre really the guy. Thanks for the info. Maybe youre willing to take a bit more time for some coins?

Sure thing.

  • Focus on getting organic or paid articles on sites within your niche—or at least a broadly related one.
  • Use a tool like Ahrefs or Semrush, and don’t bother with sites that have less than 5k monthly traffic. You might wonder why, and the reason is simple: if a site can’t rank its own content, it’s unlikely to bring you any real value.
  • Learn on-page SEO, avoid keyword/topic cannibalization, and structure your site well. The main goal is to become a topical authority first—and then a broader authority.
  • Use social media while it still feels fun. SEO is a long-term game and very dependent on context.
  • For everything else, just ask Perplexity or ChatGPT—they're probably friendlier than I am.
Have fun, be patient, and treat the process like a game.

Milady.

The last thing, and probably, the most important is consistency. You need to constantly update your blog with brand new content, and make sure about the quality of your posts. It's not only helps keep your audience engaged but also improves your SEO rankings.

Don't take it too fearfully. Googy is whimsical AF and one day it can hit the kill switch you at random. Nowadays Google for SMB is a too fast too furious race. Almost anyone is living from Google search safefully. I ditched that business and selling all my assets because of this (and because I've found a better thing ngl). But if I had to stick to this I would go 100s of articles per day, semi automated, with some degree of curation but nothing too carefully. Focusing on dominating clusters, one page and one keyword at a time

The number of articles you should publish per day or week depends on your goals and resources. Publishing two articles per week is a solid pace for consistent content creation without sacrificing quality. However, if you're looking to boost your SEO faster or target a competitive niche, increasing your output to one article per day can help, but only if you can maintain high-quality content. The key is balancing frequency with quality — aim for content that is well-researched, relevant, and engaging, rather than just quantity.
