Yeah these are solid URL's. the huge lists are literally full of junk and duplicates. I plan to go through those lists and pull out anything good to add to this list.

I think just the root domain, these types of links arent good for ranking, they are good for bots and indexing really.

I had seen that post on here before. Basically with this list i manually hit each URI to see which one actually created a page with a backlink and how it was formatted, some like the www and some do not. that way its only running on sites correctly and you are actually getting pages created and backlinks rather than just hitting servers and wasting time.

I know the bigger list was serious shit as most of the URIs were dupes and had extra stuff on them from previous urls that were input.

Can check your backlinks with scrapebox. See which one gives you backlink.

Just did it how to check it?
Also will they auto discover or do I have to ping them?

Can someone explain briefly what is the benefit of having backlinks without anchor texts?

As it won't help rank a keyword in google is it just to beef up the overall link count of the website? If not, why are they useful?

I read above about getting indexed faster but not sure why that would matter really. I can wait a couple of days extra until goog decides to pay me a visit, no problem I am sure I am missing the point here though. Enlightenment?
