I’m looking to manage multiple Reddit accounts and wondering if using Antidetect browsers + VPN is a safe method.

  • Will Reddit detect and ban accounts even with separate fingerprints & IPs?
  • Is a mobile proxy or residential proxy better than a VPN for this?
  • What’s the best setup to avoid shadowbans and restrictions?
  • Any recommended tools or strategies for safe multi-account management?

Would love to hear insights from experienced Reddit marketers!

Spread accounts across multiple ADBs and diff proxies, and NEVER cross-link them.

+ This. If the account doesn't have Karma make sure you don't make spammy, low quality posts or anything related to that or you will face bans.

mobile or residential proxies paired with good antidetect browser hygiene are usually safer than VPNs

Antiedetect browser and VPN is not enough, though they are a bit safer for managing multiple Reddit account. Reddit is now much smarter now. It can restrict if it catches same pattern, behavior or inappropriate ip. Residential IP is much safer than VPN that looks like a real human traffic. It is better to use different fingerprints, cookies and browser. Use Antidetect browser like Multilogin or GoLogin. Try to maintain from Low activity to human behavior. Thus way, risk my be decrease.

Keep it mind, any approach or strategy you may apply is not 100% safe for restriction.

In my experience, you should use a residential proxy instead of a VPN because you can attach a proxy to each antidetect browser profile and run them at the same time. If you use a VPN, if you run them at the same time, you will still be detected for duplicate IPs.

Yes, it’s possible to operate multiple Reddit accounts using an anti-detect browser and a VPN, as they mask digital fingerprints (e.g., IP, browser data) to prevent Reddit’s detection systems from linking accounts.

pls avoid using vpn. their ips usually don't work well with social media platforms.tThe best combo is a proxy + antidetect browser. you can try out some free trials from different antidetect tools to see which one suits you best. personally, i’m using Hidemyacc right now. as for proxies, both mobile and residential ones are fine as long as they’re clean.
