question to the fellow EU citizens here. I need a crypto wallet in which I can receive USDT and cash out to a european bank account. I have heard USDT got banned a few weeks ago? Any recommendations?

Apparently yes, I think not all implemented it yet but they probably will (for european citizens). I went with Bybit now

if your residential address is in EU, you will not be able to work on legitimate exchange with USDT, your only option will be to use DEX or P2P

yes, but only if your registered mailing address with Bybit is non-EU

You could try going through a P2P exchange like LocalCoinSwap, there’s many sellers that’ll cash you out through a lot of different payment options.

Another option would be converting the USDT through a DEX into ETH (or whatever coin is available on that chain) and then proceed to turn that into € on any of the available CEXs in your country.

I am now using Epay e-wallet, which can receive USDT and convert it into Euros and transfer it to your bank card, which is very convenient.

You’re good with pretty much any non-custodial wallet. Good examples of solid wallets are Trust and Exodus - both support a lot of different chains so you really can’t go wrong with either.

To cash it out in fiat it’d depend on your country and the availability of CEXs, or you could go through a P2P exchange like Paxful or LocalCoinSwap.
