There's no real answer, it depends on your monetization strategy.
For a new account, it takes 3 weeks to a month to receive the first clicks.


- Write article trending topics.
- Create board for trending topic with keyword on it.
- Create 7 pin for trending topics. (put main keyword on title and other other keyword in description) use google search operator for it ("keyword" siteinterest.com/ideas)
- Pin the pin in the selected board, space 24-48h.
- Wait some week for first click
- Gather the data, analyze it.
- Repeat what's working
- Don't waste your time reinventing things, analyze what works in your niche and do the same for yourself.

I see that I have clics but nothing appears on my Google analytics when it comes from android devices.
I only see pinterest when it's from computer browser. Is it normal ?
I tried with google analytics and histats.

Some of pinterest click as marked as Direct.
But all my traffic appear on GA.

You should have problem with google analytics setting.

I fucked up on this account, I got email from pinterest they deactivate the account after pin only one pin for spam behavior, I should have trigger something when I created the account.

I made a request to reinstate the account, it was done in 2/3 days, saying it was an error. But I think that doesn't help the account grow.

Will still post some pin anyway and see how it goes.

How many pins per board and per account is good?

I mean, you said you are doing 7 per article. If you publish 100 articles, it's about 700 pins. How much is too much for pinterest?

Yeah 700 pins. Just make every pin different for the same url, title and description.
Depends, if your article are listlicle with images like, 15 images, I would do 7 pins with text overlay and pin the 15 images from the article to the same url.

I think you will trigger spam if you pin the same image, title and description again and again.
After the spam filter will depends on every account.

Oh I don't repin from other account. Maybe it can help for warm up account.

I was talking about people who repin my own pin,
Red is my own pin, blue other people repin my pins.

But people repin more images without text overlay and the CTR is shit, so my click are decreasing.
Pinterest pushing more the image without overlay text. I loose click this month. (but it's not dramatic lol)

I just gonna pin only pin with text overlay.

Never tried much Pinterest much before but followed this thread advices and it seems to start working after long time in sandbox. Hope it will grow way more soon.

How do you manage these many accounts? Are you using any anti-detect browser? Also, how do you target audiences in other countries? I had an account, too, but I was based in a tier-3 country, so my 80% traffic was from tier-3 countries only. Can you please tell any strategy that would help me target the tier-1 audience?
