Reddit is going bankrupt. For obvious reasons too. The moderation system is absolute trash.

Even if you build a 100% absolutely squeaky clean subreddit, they can take it away from you once you grow. I know of several cases. It's rotten, much worse than late stage dmoz

So they FAFOd and Reddit is now dying. Down 50%, then probably down further soon.

man, ain't like that. even if you go clean clean with some new account you end on shadow ban in the most nice scenario ....let's be real, reddit is trash full of frustrated wankers which are guarding the report button. It is a good brand but is managed by some retards.

They do have many users but as the poster above mentioned you get shadow banned just for joining the wrong subreddit. Also i heard somewhere that only like 1-10% of users generate 80% of the content so not a lot of engagement and also lost of bots.

It's to be expected. Over the last years Reddit has changed so much.

New UI which no one asked for, atrocious prices for their API which closed the doors for most third party apps, CQS, and more changes on the moderators side.

Moderators from US could and did buy in on the IPO, now they are cashing out since there is no trust.

Reddit does monthly enquetes for feedback form moderators but they are not listening to what mods say.
