Hi

i have a website where visitors are somewhat predisposed to buy subs for IPTV, VPN, maybe both. so far I earn $1.45 CPM on my popups.. is this better than what i could be earning from VPN/IPTV subs referrals? i know the success rate will be 1 in 1000s of visitors, but then you get a hefty %% of what they are spending, so.. who knows?

what do you think? has anyone done a "study" maybe or a thread on this? it's hard to find something specific like this via BHW search function, i tried a few variations. but maybe i dunno the right words.

If you want to the drop the URL to me in a PM, we might be able to pay a better rate for our IPTV site(s), should you be interested.

What website is this? Mind sharing

Referral can beat CPM easily if even a few convert, test both and track ROI closely.

Popups give fast low CPM but shallow returns. Referrals like VPN or IPTV scale slow but can stack heavy long-term if traffic is right—split test and let the data talk.

Honestly, if your audience is already warm and interested in VPN/IPTV, high-ticket referral commissions usually beat low CPM popups in the long run—even if conversion is 0.1–0.2%, the payout per sale can easily surpass what you make with thousands of popup impressions.

Popups give steady CPM, but high-ticket VPN/IPTV referrals can easily out-earn if even a tiny fraction convert.

With $1.45 CPM on popups, you’re making steady money, but affiliate sales—even with a 0.1% conversion—can easily outpace that if the commissions are high. It really depends on your traffic quality and the price/commission of the VPN/IPTV offers. Many people test both to see which scales better.

If your audience actually wants VPN/IPTV, referrals usually pay way more long-term than popups, even with low conversion.

If your audience is targeted and likely to buy, high-ticket referrals usually beat low CPM popups in long-term revenue.
