I'm nearing the completion of a website that uses image recognition to identify potential allergens in food photos uploaded by users. Now that I'm almost done, I'm thinking about monetization strategies. Can anyone offer insights on how I can generate revenue from this project?

Start with submitting your website to an ad network for ad monetization. That's how you create passive income with no effort. For newbies I recommend Mondiad cause it has daily cashouts starting with $10 which no one really offers. (but you can do your research).

In time, you should experiement with different ad formats to see which ones work best for your website and later add other monetization options like the ones mentioned above.

Depends what you mean with "slow".
If you have a good organic traffic and enogut traffic, google ADS are the most profitable about monetize site. A variant like other people suggest it's to sell custom ADV space by close a direct partnership, but it's a little bit complicated
