What's with all these "Like" websites?

Your buddy must have got into the "Like Website" game in the very beginning (unless his stands out from all the others). I am willing to bet he is making some nice money.
I still have this site btw. I have no time to deal with it/market it etc., so please someone PM me with an offer and take it off my hands

True, but I am not concerned with a few bucks here and there. I understand others might be, but I personally am not.

This field is also getting saturated. There are too many people doing this without any innovation.
I'm still making decent money with it though. I don't expect to be making anywhere near as much in a month or so.

I'm interested in Like sites too,and maybe get startted some days later.
A friend of mine showed me a site that I figured out in about 15 seconds would give traffic. It was shortly after the Open Protocol came..open - I didn't even think to search online for an entire forum discussing it in detail.
I feel like this doesn't have much longevity, because the "like" is so time sensitive - its on someone's profile for a moment (on some profiles) - You need a reason for people to continually funnel your website into their feed...

This has become saturated to the point of no end (just like everything else that has been publicly shared). If you want to make a few bucks here and there, create a Like Website. If you want to make a killing, come up with something unique and do not share it with anyone (sharing with trusted business partners is okay, but not the whole world).

True dat. The magic word really is unique, something that 99.9% of people fail to realize. If your happy with a few bucks copy someones all ready saturated idea. If you want to make shit-your-pants-mind-boggling amounts of cash on the other hand...

Yep, the only problem is not only do 99.9% of people fail to realize this, 99.9% of the people cannot and/or will not come up with their own unique ideas!

It's so funny we are talking about this today. I just seen someone trying to sell my method somewhere else. The really funny thing is I already banked unbelievable amounts of money from it, so much so that fb has already dealt with it. This guy copied everything, he is even still hotlinking some of my stuff in his demo lol. He is basically just preying on the gullible noobs who think all they have to do is copy someones elses work to be successful. It is exactly the same situation as the the "like" websites (and basically every other product being touted as the next great thing). The first few who got in on it did great, and the rest who follow will fail.

Me either; I say let these people keep going in circles because it is only going to make it easier for those of us who know what we are doing and actually can (and are willing) to come up with unique ideas.
