Easy niches for SEO case studies?

Hey guys,

Lately I got an idea to get case studies for my SEO business. I'd find some obscure niches, something with okay traffic and very low KD and then I'd:

1. Create a super quick website specific for that
2. Publish content targeting those keywords
3. Drive some cheap links to the website and get #1 for all those keywords in no time
4. Create a case study out of it and repeat

Now my questions is, do you guys know any niche like that? I don't care if the keywords aren't profitable, I just need something with super low KD and decent traffic.

I'm looking for obscure and easy to rank niche specifically to create ad hoc case studies. I'm not looking for someone to do the job for me, I already know how to do SEO.

I'm asking this because I know people do this. They find some unheard niche with super low KD, they rank for it, create a case study and just abandon the website.

Look at a Ahrefs or SEMrush organic keywords report for a UGC domain like Reddit, sort by KD ascending (basically KD 0), then look at anything with a volume of 100 or below. That should get you some ideas.

This is a pretty good idea and I was looking into product scouting apps like jungle scout to find popular products and reverse engineer them through Semrush to find easy niches

Unless you have done it, you cannot say 3rd point so easily.. I dont think that process look that easy as you are telling!
Plus you still need to invest your Time on setting the onpage correctly and building Quality backlinks to rank those pages even with LOW Kds!

Yea, I know how to optimize for SEO and when I said it'd be ''easy'' I meant compared to ranking an actual cleint's website for higher KD keywords. I definitely am not expecting to rank in a few days.

I suggest looking at niches within niches if you want a quick turnaround on this. Some tangentially related field to a larger niche should be what you're looking for. Where if people do search for them they're definitely already way down the rabbit hole

how about Try ultra-niche local services ? like mobile auto detailing in small towns... or weird hobby communities. Low comp, decent traffic, and easy to rank...
