AI is the Future of SEO or a Risky Shortcut

I have tired few AI tools to generate content for me. I really impressed with its advanced features that allow me to create content in various aspects as per my requirement. But personally I’m not convinced they will outperform the content created by humans. I needed to reedit few basic stuff to make it reader friendly.

Have you tired any AI generated contents?
What do you think about it?
Have you seen any real-world success with AI-generated contents?

of course it won't! AI is simply content stolen from humans, even the acronym AI is misleading as intelligence involves consciousness, and the AI has no consciousness, it's just a large database of words that make sense and which is maintained and updated by humans.

I have tried it about 2-3 years ago. And it's been pretty good even back then :p ... I assume nowadays it's even better

But again, this is because it is maintained by people, not because this program called AI learns on its own volition. It just outputs what other people input into it...

Anyway, if you're talking about common knowledge then yeah, the AI content is pretty good. But since the AI has no consciousness and no inspiration / intuition mechanisms it can't evolve on its own, so unless someone updates it, it can't provide updated (while still safe for living creatures) content

Have you seen any real-world success with AI-generated contents?
not personally, but there are folks around the forum that swear by 100% AI content ranking and bringing them money. And I tend to believe some of these people, but not because of the AI being amazing or something, but for 2 other reasons:

1) google does reward such content when / if it helps their users, and, more importantly
2) there are still many people who can't discern between good or bad, or between right or wrong, and they eat up everything that google serves them, which google can see and - as a result - reward the 100% AI content

here's my 2 cents!

I sell an product which is vitamins subscription.

My top competitor hired a student, who wrote articles, which were outlines of chatgpt. So she basicly took all the headings and subheadings. Made it her own and wrote on own text.

That way u use chatgpt how a computer interprets the subject and the same does Google. ( maybe not ? ). you dont know.

those articles are getting in 30k worth of dollars :) all im saying

Anyways the product they sell is super good and so is their information and design.

Tips for myself

You can use chatgpt and ask to what subject it belongs. Is this article im writing more an article of biology or health. and how do those two correlate within this article.

You can use chatgpt to generate TAGS!

Chatgpt is supergood for making titles !

And as you grow in asking those questions and figuring things out. that's what its about too. ur right for asking those questions.

But im already gone from asking questions. This is new technlogy so u can ask us anything but as soon as ur there im one step ahead :()

I would say AI works well when used as a tool rather than a full replacement. It's up to the user to decide how to use AI effectively. However, human creativity cannot be replaced. Yeah, AI generated content can work well but if used the correct way. I have seen websites rank with AI content, but it always performs better when you follow good SEO practices, focus on the right keywords, and add human edits. AI speeds things up, but raw AI text usually needs some tweaking to make it truly effective.

AI content is just rehashed human content for now, or even worse, as its content is generally generic and superficial, it can't outperform human content - that's the current situation in 2025

Thanks for sharing the information

Appreciated. The tips will be helpful for those who intend to work with AI in the future.

It works well for scaling content, but truly effective SEO still benefits from originality and a human touch.

While AI tools provide a strong starting point for content creation, human oversight is essential to ensure readability, engagement, and authenticity that resonates with real-world audiences.

AI is great for speed and scaling, but it still need human editing to make content truly engaging. it works best as an assistant, not a replacement.
Exactly this.

Generate content with AI to avoid writer’s block, get ton of ideas in one click and do the editing and fact checking. People complaining that AI content is not working mostly are people who just copy paste the output of AI and hit publish.

In my perspective, I think optimizing AI strategies in SEO can be highly effective, but the content must be well-structured to improve ranking. AIso, AI alone isn’t enough without technical SEO. You know, search engines prioritize user experience, which means the content should be engaging, and related to user intent which plays a major role. At the end of the day, SEO isn't about AI, it's all about what the user needs and delivering it in the best way as possible.

Not yet, planning to use in the future. so i have checked with a few AI tools. Not convinced personally, so I posted a thread to hear a second thought from BHW experts.
Are you using the Ai now or not?

I’ve posted around two AI-based content pieces on the first page. The keywords were highly competitive, and while the content itself is indeed important, a variety of tactics—like SERP, backlinks, and PBN—also need to be utilized.
