A few years ago I received payments under another name with Payoneer without any problems
But since 2023 or something like that, they started asking explanations for this name difference when receiving payouts from PayPal and Stripe
If you have a good excuse, they may accept the payout...or maybe not

What happens when they ask account gets paused? / Is there a way around it?

Stripe's pretty good at catching mismatched info, so yeah, names need to jive. Why not just get your own account verified?

Nowadays it's hard to find a bank that will accept receiving bank transfers originally sent to a different name

Stripe is strict nowadays, it's true.
But is it your own account or you've just got the account under someone's name? Anyway, better to avoid all mismatching
It'd be under somone else's name

Once your Stripe account is verified, you shouldn't face any issues as long as the card or bank name matches the account details, and you’ve completed the necessary setup for accepting card payments.
It would be verified by someone different to then on the card how would I get around this
