You might have to dive into the actual leaked engineering documentation. I believe it was called "is_wordpress" or "isWordpress"?

There is also a flag for small / personal sites, "smallPersonalSite". Again some speculating this means Google is less favourable to smaller publishers.

But who knows. We just know the data they collect, not what they do with it.

for some reason my e-com store is seeing huge rise in blog content keywords but my products / categories are doing the dance... strange

I got hit earlier this week. Massive drop on a new site from page 1 and 3 to page 7 onwards, which is where I was about a month ago.

Interestingly, when i go to search console there is no data at all since then my SERPs crashed. Literally nothing. Literally 4 or 5 days of no data. Very weird. I only found out my rankings through manually checking myself.

Google just dropped the March 2025 Core Update like it's hot... and so did my rankings.


Some pages went from #1 to WhoTFKnowsWhere, while others rose like they drank SEO pre-workout.
