How to start with self mobile proxy farm?

This is what I am stuck on now, is there an free or pay once type of alternative to iproxy.online?Ideally I would like to host it myself ... I would like to not be stuck to monthly subscriptions in the beginning, especially a 10$ per device one...
You can choose a cheaper plan with lower speed—it will still work. Everything has its value, and you won’t find a comparable service for free.

3proxy is a wonderful software, really good.
But there is one disadvantage - bad UDP support. Actually it does not support UDP with "parent" option.
iProxy supports UDP with OpenVPN, while Localtonet offers SOCKS5-UDP without OpenVPN. As far as I know, iProxy is also working on SOCKS5-UDP. There are already many well-functioning solutions, with more improvements in progress.

You won’t find a free proxy management service. For just $10 you get a ready to use solution, which isn’t a high price to pay. Some alternatives offer annual subscriptions that can be more cost effective in bulk. If you're looking for a free and open-source option, take 3Proxy.

As I know, localtonet uses QUIC protocol, they do not support UDP over socks5 (i have checked several month ago)
Iproxy supports UDP using OpenVPN, but there are some disadvantages with this setup - they change DNS for openvpn connection to some fixed provider like Google or Cloudflare - NOT the real DNS of the phone. They also have limits on OpenVPN connections to one phone.
Proxidize supports UPD over socks5 but it's quite expensive and have their own limitations.

Starting a self mobile proxy farm is a great idea.

1. Hardware Setup

  • Modems/Dongles: Use mobile modems or dongles with SIM cards for mobile IPs.
  • USB Hubs: Connect multiple devices to your PC using USB hubs.
  • Routers: Consider routers with SIM card slots for better scalability.

2. Software Configuration

  • Proxy Software: Use open-source or reliable proxy software to manage connections.
  • IP Rotation: Set up tools to rotate IPs automatically for better performance.
  • Monitoring: Use monitoring tools to track traffic and ensure stability.

3. SIM Cards and IPs

  • Multiple SIMs: Use SIM cards from different carriers to diversify IPs.
  • Clean IPs: Ensure the IPs aren’t flagged or overused.

4. Scaling and Maintenance

  • Start Small: Begin with a few devices and scale up as needed.
  • Regular Checks: Monitor for overheating, connectivity issues, or SIM throttling.

how do you think using gpt help people on this forum

@TheMarquis is this what you do be up to dude?
Yes, in general lines. Expanding the text above and researching each of the bullet points (what software to use, what hardware to choose, and so on) will result in a potential good business. After all, it's not rocket science.

Dongles work, but they can be less reliable for long-term scaling due to overheating, limited network control, and lower connection stability compared to industrial modems. If you're planning to scale, PCI Express with a quality USB expansion card can help, but using a dedicated Raspberry Pi or mini-PC per hub might offer better stability.
do you mean to use something like this - StarTech.com 4-Port USB 3.0 PCIe Card (PEXUSB3S44V)

please advise what industrial modems can be used instead of dongles
