GSA Keyword research tutorial?

I think it’s better using Ahrefs and Semrush
That’s because you don’t know about the tool or what keyword research is other than copying out of tools that sell you their own sometimes autogenerated and incorrect data. Google provides the best data for what they consider topical relevance. Not Semrush and ahrefs. This tool scrapes googles *current* data and many other sources if you choose to or know how to.

What you do and what I do are two totally different things. And you’re welcome to continue doing what millions of other people do if you think that’s how you can effectively compete or do realistic topic research for that matter. I certainly won’t twist your arm to look at something different.

Anyone can pay to use those tools but you need a brain for this one.

Man, I used GSA for almost 8 years now. there is no angle of it I wouldn't know. If you are happy with your method, go ahead. For me GSA sucks for keyword research

I tried it out a few years ago and didnt get very good results. But if you have a different way of using it that maybe i missed id love to hear about it.

It’s nice to see optimism. I know im late from my own deadline for the tut but I got some things going on. Hang on it’s coming. Halfway done on my end.

Take as much time as you need. I'd take quality over quantity any day.
Im working on some bugs with the dev. There’s some (minor) issues with the keyword scraping engines. It doesn’t affect the main method because we don’t use the keyword scraping engines but the secondary functions are still worth mentioning in the tutorial

thank a lot for your effort!

I quit using it some time ago due to the poor data through the APIs of SEORank and KWs Everywhere. Curious to learn how you manage this.

Im assuming you were using the keyword scrapers and not the nGram filters that scrape pages ranking in Google? I am the one that requested the feature that scrapes headings and phrases (depending on settings). It originally only scraped words on pages depending on your settings of importance.

The keyword scrapers scrape things like Google suggest ans browser histories. Random and maybe autogenerated. That’s why I don’t use that normally.

It’s easy to miss the nGram scraper

I'm well aware of the nGram scraper. But you still want KW search volumes.

Okay. I get what you’re saying now. Yes my method is not a free method or relying only on GSA KWR. I also use Semrush in this method. Although in my niche I am an expert so I don’t need Semrush or any tool because I’ve been ranking for a long time.

Im using this for content for my own PBN. But I would use it in any niche for content silos on money sites too — and I might in the future for CPA offers on websites with totally scraped data.

Yes, I think you and I have used the tool differently, or maybe perceived what it can do differently. I hope my method helps you. You have been a big help here. I’ve read many of your posts. It would be my pleasure.

Got it, thanks. Looking forward to study your tutorial.

I may decide to just move forward with the main tutorial in the next few days if the issues with the keyword scrapers are not fixed

I've never used SER KWR does your method need an API of some sort ? I saw you talking about semrush, do we need their API ? Can we use alternatives like dataforseo ?

No problem with the issues: imperfect action is better than perfect inaction.

I use semrush for a bunch of things so that’s what the tutorial will use. If you want to adapt it to tools you use, I'm sure you can do that.

No api necessary.
