It's a short dictionary name so it has some value right off the back. The age is good and all but even if you didn't renew it snapnames or namejet would probably drop catch this one..

I say keep it for now because the value will probably only go up. Park it at Sedo and if someone wants it they will find it there. They can make you an offer through Sedo.com which you can choose to keep, counter, or send to auction. personally, I think this is the only way you're going to get anywhere near what its actually worth for it.

Don't know what all development could really be done with this but I would say its worth low $XXXX

dont be silly to sell it for few k's. look around for the value of similar domains.i would say build aan authority site around it.a 1 yrs dedicated work in right direction could easily build you few k's / day, if you dont have time or knowledge jv with someone trusted.

btw..estibot and other web appraisal sites estimate it from 60k-200k which i think is a little too much.. but i want to hear your oppinion..

invest with what.. im very low on $$$.. thats why im selling it.. i know its a keeper.. imagine this domain after . 10 years lets say.. but.. reality sucks.. :/

Even with just a few type-ins it's definitely a keeper, hold it until you see an offer you can't refuse or try a premium auction event. I would be cautious of any development strategies, many developers like to start with a clean slate, but almost any site will bring value and interest among the investors/resellers. great name, good luck.

I'm not sure how someone would monetize this domain to make it worth $10k or up as some people are suggesting. And the idea that a site would be worth $15k or more simply because it's a PR4 isn't the case unless you find a sucker. I've bought PR4 sites off Flippa.com that were more directly related to search terms that result in ad clicks or product purchases for around $1k. And those had full sites with lots of content behind them and were earning some money.

The Microsoft OCI tool gives "effot" a Non-Commercial Intention of 1 which is the highest score. That means that according to the data they have, this term is not at all related to the intent of the searcher to purchase something. It has an average CPC on AdWords of $0.39 for the US but that appears to be as parts of phrase or broad matches for longer terms.

Your best bet would be to find someone who intends to or already runs a business named Effort or Effort something so they can use it for their corporate site. Perhaps someone wants to use it as the brand name of some online service they want to launch. In that case, it's hard to say what the value would be. It's like asking what's the value of a vanity license plate or "lucky" phone number.

I say throw it up on Flippa and let the market decide. Some of the other effort TLDs out there are being used as corporate sites already. You could contact them and see if they are interested in buying the .com version.
