How would you monitize it? Just send CPA offers?

You should find an appealing product which not looks like spammy. The right product is the main fact. If your product is not correct then it will be a waste of time.

Not only can you make money, but there are also people who might buy your email list. However, finding those buyers is not easy.
Of course, sending email marketing campaigns to that list is the most profitable way, but it requires you to have a well-thought-out plan regarding content, products, and the strategy for sending those emails to achieve the best results. It’s definitely not an easy task.

I've worked with pretty random and huge lists.
The simple way is to quickly segment them by sending emails of different "interests", then go from there.
Monetization can include creating and selling own products, sending affiliate offers, making money from solo ads, and more.

It is like you start sending them mails and then they will take action. You have to do lot of testing to even get the emails actually delivered to inbox.

CPA is your sweet spot - $0.10-0.20 per email if you're hot selling, $0.01-0.05 for cold selling. Unless you have a golden niche and an 80% conversion rate (not random), $1 is just fantasy. Start small, test, then scale up.

For sending the campaigns: Would you try to get SES enabled aws accounts to send the mails? Or try to run own email servers? I think the second option would be way cheaper but also way harder to hit the inbox.

Maybe even multiple google workspaces could work for lower sending amounts.
