I have a website covering 22 cities, but Google is only ranking me in one of them. As I mentioned in a previous post, the site has been indexed for two months.

Is it normal for Google to gradually rank keywords by city or in a partial manner? It seems very strange because I’m ranking for a city that even has a higher keyword difficulty (KD) than others that are not ranking as well yet.

Has anyone experienced something similar?

Yes, each city has a different URL with H1, H2, custom content for each city

For separate cities with separate cities means then you focus on the Keyword rankings with external links along with GMB promotions too

Because as a new site, it needs constant work of ranking all the city keywords then only can you see the effects, do interlinking with homepages and inner pages

Google has been really random to which page it will rank in her position (in my case at least) i can have the same keyword in 10 different cities , one will be on the top 10 the rest at the bottom of the page. Then after the big update , the page that was ranking literally tanked and the rest of them jumped to top 15. I guess it is a mix of authority , uniqueness and keyword difficulty which runs parallel to authority. My .2c
