Journey to enter tiktok rewards.

I've been making videos on this page for about a month now, tested a few content styles and just recently had 2 videos reach over 300k views, I want to get to the rewards program since I can make money off of views on these videos, for now i just need the followers.

Videos are in the woodworking niche and are easy to make, I got one of my friends who i taught to edit so I semi automated that part of the process.
I've tried buying views and likes to see if it helps with engagement but I'm not sure. Also I tried the videos with minecraft gameplay and they perform terribly, realised videos with just vertical woodturning perform ok and have viral potential, and recently tried a new type of video and it went "viral" with 500k views so I'm feeling good.

To Do:
-put affiliate link in bio for power tools
-engage more with other creators(comments)
-stay consistent ofc

My plan is to post on other platforms but I'm not sure about it since some videos are from facebook for example, let me know what you think

I tried similar journey about 1 year ago. The problem is that after you get 10K followers and you get accepted in the rewards program, the videos often don't get monetized and you get originality strikes - and after 3 strikes, you get kicked out of the rewards program and have to apply next month. That was my problem.

Also I reccomend you to not show your account username on websites like this, for any business you do. Because guys here will either copy you, or report you etc etc.


A strategy I used to get followers, I am not sure it can work in your niche too. (my niche was about a politician) - was to follow the followers of similar accounts to mine, I good 10-20% would follow back.



Also, if you cannot monetize by the rewards program, don't give up, and try with affiliate/cpa etc.


Also, if you think this will work, don't be slow, and work on multiple accounts at the same time.


Also, I hope you created your account froma country that is supported by my the rewards program - I saw people who after getting 10K followers, realized they had an account not from a supported country.

Anyways, I hope you do well. I think I will give it another try too. I still have like 3-4 accounts with 10k+ followers.

I was following Musa also in those discord servers with lots of teenagers.
Unfortunately for me, in different accounts, there was no way to beat the originality strikes. I tried different things, even shooting the video with my phone while playing the video on my laptop.

I mean, my video could go viral, but not monetized. - I remember if you take a video and reuoload it, you'd get zero views, but after repurposing it, you can get views, but still get originality strikes.

Update 1:
A video went super viral and got me nearly 10k followers lol, so I guess this part of the journey will be fulfilled soon, after that making my first online dollar is the goal.

My next issue to fix is that even tho I have 9k followers they don't see my videos and I have generally low views(less than 1k), I'm observing my viewer retention and studying where the views fall off to see what they don't like but it's a process, tho I'm not in a hurry, as I can only control what I post and when I post, twice a day is achievable and I do it everyday which I'm happy with. So overall I'll just try different styles while also experimenting few times a week until another video pops and I get into the program.

I guess I'll find out about original content strikes soon but I hope not, I'll let you know, but if the creator needs to strike me himself I may be able to avoid it.
