Hi,

Anyone of you gents came across such link building tactic, and know how to recover or fix it?

I believe the impact is quite negative for the victims site. My site is there too... At: "OUR FUTURE CLIENTS" section.

I have at least 100 domains with links pointing to my business website.

Do you know how to fix this? maybe disavow in Google Search Console?

Thank you!

Usually this wont affect your SEO progress as G does not consider these pages useful otherwise any competitor would start doing such backlinks to a well performing website to bring it down !
Although you can still build a list of such URLs and disavow them!

Of course holisticseo.digital is there...

You're not the first one asking about this specific spam. Looks to be getting popular. I suggest to search the forum for more info.

Disavow usually doesn't do much. I admit it's been a while since I used it but that's what I'm hearing.

Luckily, this spam is usually recognized and ignored without your need to do anything.

Check the targets listed, how are they doing?

Google won't consider these links. You can focus on building quality from suitable websites with diversified link profiles.

The targets are doing well. As far as I checked.

Will disavow the spammy links just to be sure.

Thanks for the reply.

Check GSC for reports of unnatural links, do an audit in Ahrefs/Semrush, and see if the number of backlinks has increased dramatically. If so, create a list and throw them into disavow.

so https://agepym.com.sv is your website?
how they put the content in it?
No, that is not my website.

From what I saw, they somehow published articles on many websites, or used a WordPress exploit + software to do the "job".

If this is the case, I heard about hacked websites, with in-page hidden backlinks pointing to client's website.

there is no negative impact for those links, exactly for the reason that you didn't create them.
google is aware that others (like competitors) would try to spam your brand, so no negative impact is created.
you should still build good valuable backlinks to your site.
