Hey everyone, I'm planning to export a random Webflow website as HTML/CSS, then modify it to fit my own needs and use that design for my website. I'm doing my best to remove all Webflow-specific tags to avoid being identified by the original site owner. I'll be updating things like images, meta tags, and other elements. I've encountered some issues with certain Webflow code that I'm unsure about changing, but I definitely plan to use the design.

What do you think of this approach? How likely is it that I'll get caught? My site will be in a different language, not English, and I'm expecting very few visitors, with most traffic coming from social networks.

Also, does anyone know of any guides or tools to help me replace all Webflow-specific tags? I'm doing everything I can to make this work and really hope I succeed.

Honestly, that sounds like a massive headache. Why not just grab a cheap theme and tweak that? Less risk, less hassle.

Reusing another site’s design is risky
use licensed templates or create your own design instead.
