Crypto.com is legit, been around for a while. Don't know about their wallet, but should be fine. Why not just send USDT ERC-20 to Binance and swap there? Probably cheaper.

All you need to do when sending out your USDT is to specify the network you want to use. If your USDT exists in your wallet as erc20, you can specify that your exchange should use trc20 when sending out to Binance. It is as simple as that
