[Suggestion] About AI written AMA replies

I know AI written content is allowed on BHW as long as it doesn't violate the rules.

I want to argue that hosting an AMA and replying with AI written responses is a violation of rule 3.5.

The point of hosting an AMA is to demonstrate expertise in a certain field. By using AI answers there's no value in the responses because it doesn't rely on expertise.

Besides the LLM will most likely give basic answers.

Not expert level advice as expected from an AMA.

Someone with deep expertise in that field would just laugh at the rubbish it'll produce.

The beginner, not knowing any better, will treat it as gospel.

What if they are just using AI to help translate or better structuring their already human-written replies?
I think that should still be allowed
English isn't everyone first or second language
and even native english speakers suck at proper English sentencing too

I don't have anything I can say against this except that we had AMAs by non natives 5 years ago, and I feel like most of the guys here are capable of telling whether the underlying reason for using AI is writing or translation.

But double hyphens, perfect academic level professor grade paragraphs, with emojis?

The acceptance of AI content has really lowered the quality of this once unparalleled forum.
I still don't understand the thought process behind this decision by the BHW core team (no offense intended).
If I wanted AI answers, I could just chat with one of the hundreds of generic chatbot LLMs and get the same answer.
The reason anyone browses or participates in a forum is to get real experience-driven answers/solutions from real people. Instead, we got an influx of 40-paragraph generic AI answer spammers who are here to inflate their account metrics and sell them to future scammers (check the site called playerup).
In a way, the allowance of AI answers has paved the way for scammers to work at a bit more ease since they don't have to worry about their supply of new accounts.

BHW has gone from being the reddit to becoming the quora of IM niche.

I reported multiple such answers but they were deemed as useful by the mods so they kept it.

They do have the final say.
If you don't agree with their line of thinking, feel free to open a support ticket about it.

Or, in the next report, be a bit more informative on why you think it should be removed then just something genertic and simple.
Give them your thoughts to let them understand why you think it should be removed.

I have personally encountered similar issue for reports, whether its AI or not, a properly constructive reply usually does a lot better than just generic reports.

Alright that's a simple yet fair point I overlooked. All my reports have been pretty generic one liners with no explanation so far so maybe the mods didn't scrutinize as carefully.

I have gone back and forth with the same report before, trying to get my point across...
Although, I wouldn't really recommend that (and I wouldn't anymore) and would use the ticket instead.

We need to speak our thoughts for them to know.
Just remember, they are probably dealing with lots of other things, and may just overlook it with a glance or two.

Just like with this thread, I left this open to see what you guys had to say about it. Since there hasn't been any other recent replies I'm going to put this to bed. Just like the other thread we hear you guys.

As pointed out, AI content is here to stay. It's allowed to utilize it for posts. Just like any other content, it has to fall within the rules.

There are no specific rules about being wrong in an AMA. HOWEVER, if you see what you think is AI content that's so wrong please feel free to report it with proof showing us why it's wrong (while we all exist within the digital marketing space, we're not all experts in everything so help us). Then we can make an informed decision on the report.
