Is I even possible for a individual crypto user to store good amount of crypto safely? If exchanges are getting hacked to tum of billions, are individuals safe anyway?
If exchanges cannot secure their crypto, what about an average bitcoin user?

That's a great point! It definitely raises some serious questions about security in the crypto world. If big exchanges are getting hacked left and right, it makes you wonder how safe individual users really are. That said, I think there are some pretty solid ways for regular folks to keep their crypto secure, like using hardware wallets or other cold storage options. It is possible but I would say spread them into different platforms.
The problem is that not many exchanges platforms have good security.

When you are an individual nobody is targeting you, when you are an exchange many people are targeting you so it’s not compatible in my opinion.
Otherwise you could say it about anything: is your bank account safe, is your car safe etc.
As long as you hold your own keys then your crypto should be safe as long as you are not manipulated into giving out those keys to anyone.

Don't keep much money on exchange is not your keys not your crypto
I know about that, but you must do your best to keep your funds safe.

Like I said, spread the funds to different platforms: binance, crypto.com, aura, etc...
That's the point. Not all these platforms have the same level of security for your funds.

Hackers are always one step ahead. Security only starts to improve after someone has already suffered damage. No one is immune to this.

Yes I agree with this its a good point. Once you suffer hacking or loss then you level up your security 10x.
