I've flipped 2-3 sites with a good amount .... more than expected.. but lately nothing is going as it should.... like example my friends site makes 3-4k monthly and highest bid was like $1000... 3-4k monthly and only 1 hour of work daily.... he has his own unique method for this, gonna try it soon ...

but also I've heard other ppl say site flipping is bad and ppl went from site flipping into other business like affilaite marketing.. CPA and etc.. what do u say about it

I've been flipping for a while. I noticed this trend from march this. Less bids, less views, lower selling prices.
Flippa even offered a birthday discount voucher this week. So it appears times are tough.

Ya... many changed.. my mate via MSN told me about this also, he's a well known site flipper and now is in the marketing/cpa world

It is true the market has slowed, especially for startup/turnkey sites, but the market is certainly not dead and plenty of cash still to be made.

I don't think his mate sold the site for a grand, but rather is stating that the highest bid was $1k.

Where do you broker these? Could you build a site up in less than 30 days and sell for 4k+?

Made some good money in the last few months but also noticed that bids are going down.

So until the market goes the other way, I am not investing too much in Flippa.
But it is certainly a good timing for buyers

Something must not be right... that's never happened to me and I just do a little site flipping on the site (like 2 sites per month) and it still brings in some good money consistantly

Flipping of the low-end sites does seem to be dead. There are numerous blog posts etc from regular flippers who are all getting out of the market.

I seemed to have noticed this trend as well. Flippa used to have a success rate on 56% of their listings. Then that number slowly dropped down to 55%. Today it is at 52%. I think the market is becoming saturated on low end sites. However, if you can show that your site is getting a steady amount of traffic and prove you have been able to monetize it then you should not have a problem flipping it.

I do notice a lot of crap sites on flippa lately. Seems everyone has gotten into site flipping. I hope this doesnt hurt my auction! I am tired of seeing lots of sites that have 'potential' on flippa.

I made like $2100 in past 3 days, selling 7 days old site and a product.

Flippa is NOT just a place to sell stuff. You can actually gain product 'Buyers' from the same place. When ever i list a website there, i gain many sales which actually makes my fees nil.

So you are saying, people buy your product, while your site is listed, and they bought as a result of your listing on flippa?

You did well on the $2100 site. But you must have offered something more than a start-up.
