Please suggest a few good courses for video editing

Hi, Friends,

Can you all please suggest me some good video editing courses, please.

Perhaps, some that are on Udemy, etc, but they have to be at very reasonable prices.
I do understand that for video editing, no technical skills are needed. I already know video editing, but at a very basic level and I want to upscale my video editing skills in order to make great videos for Youtube, Instagram reels, etc.

NOTE : I have posted this in "Making Money" section, as it best relates to making money and all replies would perhaps help others in future, as video editing is nowadays is a hot way for people (even newbies) to get a head-start into earning some bucks and scaling it up.

I started editing my videos randomly at first, without any courses. Whenever I ran into a tough task, YouTube was always my go-to for help!

Just pick up a beginner's guide for either Animate, Premier, Blender, or Davinchi. Lots of options to choose from, to get they basics, and familiar. and like @TAKTIK says just ask for the specifics in youtube the net or chatgpt, I find can be quite helpful, as it usually has scanned the docs of the software online.

I’m getting into video editing soon too. I’ve always thought about it, but @laflour recently reignited that interest.

Like you, I have the basics down, but I really want to improve and take it more seriously. I’m thinking of starting with animation and maybe even creating a journey here on BHW.

I don’t necessarily think a course is needed, at least for me, I will just figure things out with YouTube and hands-on practice.

I’ve been researching tools, and CapCut, Eleven Labs, and Runwayml seem like they will come in handy.

DaVinci Resolve is one of the best video editing tools out there, offering professional features. However, when I first started making videos, I used Movavi Video Editor, and it was an excellent tool for beginners. For anyone looking to learn video editing, YouTube is the best resource

My recommendation is to find the first tutorial on YouTube and start doing it right away. And only with practice will you learn how to make high-quality videos. I recommend using the capcut pro version.

Youtube! Everything can be learned in Youtube now. Start searching some “basic stuff” w whatever tools youre using, or interested in.

Hm, in these past few days, I dabbled a bit in short-form content creation.
I am not a pro, but I got down the basics of Premiere & CapCut. Maybe the best way would be to choose one style you like, and search it up on YT.
Let's say you want to create travel vlogs. You then go research on YT how to edit travel vlogs, or short format video explainers, etc.
To me, it's the best way to start. Copy the style at first, later, when you have the basics down, you can brand your videos however you like it.
