Cant follow anybody

Hey guys,

I am using an iphone 11 pro and I reset the phone and using a 5g US proxy. I download Tiktok and created an account but I cannot even follow a single person its been 4 days and I warmed up the account by scrolling 30 minutes per day. I dont have a sim card in the phone.

What is the cause of the problem and can it be fixed? What should I do?

Should I start posting videos even if it does that or is it a lost cause? Also is this normal for new accounts to not be able to follow anybody?
 
If possible, try adding a SIM card to your phone. This can help verify your identity and reduce the chance that your account will be flagged as suspicious. Even if you don't want to use the SIM card for calls or data, simply installing the SIM card can make your account look more legitimate

There's a high chance your account has been shadowbanned. Have you tried posting a video yet? If the video isn’t getting any distribution, I’d recommend creating a new account.

Try using a new device with a fresh IP and see if that helps
 
I somehow managed to follow 10+ people and then I can't follow anyone at all. I’ve tried everything, including all the tips they suggested on internet. I've contacted support through the app, they were no help. But about an hour later, I got a notification saying, 'We’ve reviewed and removed the restrictions on your account. However, there may still be specific conditions preventing access to certain features"
So seems like I’ve been shadow banned.. I haven’t even done anything!

Mate it is a proxy issue you can change proxy or close proxy then check your TikTok
 
Yeah, make sure you have quality residential IPs and it should go away. If you already are, rotate or change the IP to another- check quality- then try again. The accounts already affected might not be good to use for another few days but should be otherwise fine. I'd ditch them though since they're new anyway and it's best to start from a clean account, aged or otherwise just not one that had that issue.
 
Sometimes logging out of your account and logging back in or reinstalling the TikTok app can help resolve technical issues.

By sim card you mean to verify the account with a text message verification as well or just adding the sim card inside the phone? Also should I create a new account or just add this sim card to the existing profile?

Okay, I have not tried posting a video yet since I thought its pointless. If Tiktok is not allowing me to even follow a single person why would they distribute my video. I will try though and see if I am shadowbanned. If I just reset my iphone and use a different proxy will that also work? Or do I need a completely separate phone?

What is your setup?
 
Something triggered their attention and your account is probably shadowbanned, you need to review your account creation process to make sure you are creating something totally unrelated with your previous accounts
 
Your lack of a SIM card in the device (phone) could be the factor. New accounts can many times get limited in functionality, if they have not been confirmed with a phone number.
