Are there any Facebook Algorhythms?

Can someone share any facebook algorhythms that you know of.

example would be that if many people liked your wall post does it show up more on other's feed?

I do know that once I hit 3K friends I never made another friend request... I had so many wanting to add me that all I did was log in and accept friends. But I joined causes that was dear to people's hearts.

I am not so sure you would call what you are speaking of an algorithm. However, I could be wrong.
