Although i can understand how it sucks to be screwed like that, I would encourage you not to do anything illegal such as messing with their systems. You have to ask yourself, which is easier to get over - lost money or years in jail that you can never get back.

Sounds like they are really pissed at you for some reason. If they thought they were getting their ROI from you, why would they destroy the honey pot??? Even a crack head drug addict is smart enough to keep a good thing while it lasts.

Back up everything you have access too, write up a report that you will send to the FTC, send them a letter letting them know half of what you have and you will settle for something you are comfortable with.

well you you still have log in to the system. I would just log back in and take down the project that you were working on. They have not paid so they should not have the finial project.

simple as that. Take it back down and they will pay to get it back up. I would make them pay more since you had to hold out for this one.

Or you could go to a lawyer and go that directions.

Honestly I do not know.. I really haven't clue.. I think one of the boss's screwed up.. and put the blame on me or made up some bs.. they shut me out and I haven't heard any answers really. I can't figure it out.. Because I was one of the best programmers they had..

My best answer is I was used. I heard rumors how they where behind like 5 months. So they bring me someone to work day and night & weekends to help them catch up. Then once the project is done or close to done. They don't pay. One reason why its a lot of money. So they make a loopy contract that sort of easy for them to get out out.. I was told by the one boss that if they didn't get the contract done on time with the other company they would go out of business because it was such a big project. Do you get where I am coming from now? Promise some idiot me big money pay only some up front.. then when he is close to done cut him off don't answer calls meetings and stuff like that.

I have talked to about 5 lawyers now. And they all tell me that the contract is loopy. In other words.. I am looking at 10% or a bit less. After fees and all that bs...

ok.. I was working as a developer for this small so called firm. They really knew what they where doing. I mean I was just setup from the beginning now that I think about it. I was going to get paid so much each week and then once again when the project was completed. The weekly checks where coming and going through. But then at the end of the project I was thanked, left and never got my last two weeks either. I worked day and night. monday tuesday wedensday thursday friday saturday sunday day and night if I wasn't sleeping trust me I was working!! FOR TWO MONTHS STRAIGHT LIKE THIS!!!

I have tried talking to these people calmly. I never once said anything bad or raised my voice. The only thing I said calmly was I am upset please give me my money. And they still haven't and still won't. They hang up the phones on me, don't return my emails, I have tried to go up there and meet with them and they tell me to get out or they will call the police. Actually the one time the police made me leave.

I have been screwed before on other projects just never nothing like this.. so I did do a little digging around before I got there.

Access to there systems -
Information about projects and people that they lied to - ( this includes government, yes believe it or not they lied to the government. because they messed up and also to make more money)
Checking account numbers
Driver Licenses / credit card numbers.
Keys / Access codes to get into the buildings


I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO I AM HURTING SO BAD!! PLEASE ANYONE GIVE ME SOME ADVICE!! I do not want to hurt the company because there are a few good people that work for them.

Write their phone number on walls in bathrooms, or on tables and random places like that.
Put it on craigslist and make it seem like they are selling selling something popular (like an ipod maybe? =D)
Go to porn chat rooms and post it "for a good time".
Fill out 50 mag subscription cards (you know the little cards that always fall out of magazines?) and they will send them bills for them and the magazine if its a weekly mag.
Put a dead animal in their mailbox
