Do you think innocent people remain poor?

I have seen that the rich are very cunning. They have mastered the art of getting their work done from others at lowest cost. But poor people are usually innocent. And majority is like this.

This false, the quality of honesty and perhaps innocence are not tied to people's financial abilities. You can be poor and grossly dishonest, you can be rich and be the opposite.

Poverty, a lot of the time is a systemic issue. That is why poor people usually stay poor unless certain parts of the system they find themselves in change.

Immoral people can be rich. But I certainly do not believe that poor people are poor because they are good. They are simply comfortable and therefore lazy.

Ohhh no. I know shitloads of evil, poor people. Not innocent at all.

That said, you probably do need some cleverness, resourcefulness, you need to be a bit cunning to get ahead in life.

There is a difference between being a dumbass and being ‘innocent’, OP. Plenty of malicious, toxic people out there, anything but ‘innocent’ by any morally sane persons reckoning who are also poor as fuck. And plenty of ordinary, well to do people doing well out there too.

It seems you have the desire to be rich, don’t how to get there so are trying to justify poverty instead.

You bring up a really interesting point! It does seem like there's a pattern where those with money often find ways to benefit at the expense of those who are struggling. Innocence can sometimes leave people vulnerable in a system that rewards cunning over kindness. It's a tough situation, and it really makes you think about how we define success and fairness in society.

yes i do. Many people think that it is wrong to do what many business owners do. Workers usually complain about their boss and how they would do things differently. However, if they did things their way, the business wouldn't succeed, because they are innocent, and that is why they are workers

You may seen a part (a small part, in my opinion) of the rich people who are bad characters, and also a part of the poor ones who are good characters. There are rich people who are doing good things, and poor people who are doing bad things. What I found that is rare is the one who work very hard and still remain poor.

I don’t believe there is a direct connection between being innocent and being poor.

It is not a question of innocence or guilt. Capitalism functions on the principle that owners generate profit by selling the labor of their workers for more than the cost of that labor.

Apparently OP either can’t figure out or gave up on making money, and just to protect her ego, instead of just saying it as it is she minces words telling everyone she is ‘innocent’ while anyone on a money making forum that is either doing well or striving to do well financially that they are cunning bastards lol. That doesn’t sound like something some ‘innocent’ would do op.

i am astonished the amount of plain jane people who think sales is unethical. this mentality is highway to mediocrity and typically, poverty. yes you can get rich without selling. but knowing how to sell sure helps a lot. whether its a cpa offer or selling yourself to an employer, customer, social media, girlfriend, gigolo...life excels by knowing how to sell. heck life excels by knowledge and [some] people have a problem with that one too!

There are people who've become wealthy just by investing long term in the stock market for decades.

If someone put just $1,000 into Apple shortly after Steve Jobs returned back in 1997, held the stock and reinvest the dividends, it would be worth around $1.3 million today.
