Hi all,

I have been quite busy IRL and other niches..

Have like 40 PM :/ Sorry for no reply and it takes a long time because I have to wait 1 minute before talking to each one :(

I'll be honest though - I haven't been doing much in terms of advertising and what not. I've been going out and stuff, lol :/

Anyway, I want to tell you all something. You know the thing they call "SEO"?

Well, I never took it on board.. Why? Boring, was kinda hard for me to understand and it just seemed difficult to get anywhere with it.

What did I do one day? I decided to start building backlinks. I kept on building for a bout 2 hours one day, making lots of backlinks and now I am on first page of google, rank 2..

Now I get visitors for that keyword and I move onto my next keywords and start building backlinks for that.. :)

Youtube, Facebook and Twitter can be good for spikes of traffic here and there, but for a constant flow of traffic which builds over time and lasts over a long period, I suggest getting into SEO.

This is from newbie to newbie, so take it on board and start building some backlinks.

Note: Stay away from keywords with high competition - Just wasting time unless you're going to be building for months (Its very worth it, but I suggest building backlinks for not-so-competitive keywords first to build a good amount of traffic first).

One thing I want to say though - Don't get your hopes to high with SEO and search engine traffic. The amount of traffic I get some SERP's isn't that great. I need to build more links, but don't think you can only have "1" keyword and use that, you gotta build like 10 before you start getting a decent bit of traffic.

Hope it helps you guys..

Cool, glad to hear you took the action. What was the average keyword searches that you first choose?

Hey macpaulos,

Keyword searches you mean like daily searches/monthly searches, yeah?

About 500-1000 searches a day. But even ones with 100 a day is good.. If they have low competition, you can hit the #1 rank in no time and get more traffic, even if it is 50 people, thats still more chance of someone clicking an adsense ad, someone buying your product, someone telling their friends about your "awesome" site :D

To get to the first page for me wasn't that difficult.. :) But you gotta keep building. Mustn't stop really, build them daily lol..

My advice is to stick to a few sites, 1-2, maybe 3. And build backlinks for those. Don't get like 10 sites and try to maintain them all at once when your main sites aren't even earning over $5 yet!

When searching for keywords, look at competition, daily/monthly searches and so on. This can all be done in google keyword tool, market samurai and more.. :)

congratulations on your success, i didnt realise it was possible to see paid results within such little time

a traffic source that can bring in a large amount of visitors within hours is great for niche sites

Actually, I would highly recommend against dropping seo all together. You are going to pay a price for that down the line. Backlinks aren't everything. They do help but you are going to hit a brick wall and all of the profits you claim to generate right now are going to stop dead in their tracks.

No offense but this is clearly a newbie mistake for you. However, you will learn the hard way when you cap out.

My advice is that you start taking seo seriously and begin to impliment it immediately with your site at a high, as once it drops out of the ' new site ' phase in google's system and gets stored as an established site property, your rank will tank.

For your sake, I hope you are telling the truth about your profits, as if this is your method of practice, you will need that money to live on later if you don't step up to a proper long-term seo plan asap.

Sincerely not trying to bust your chops, man...just see this sort of thing happen all the time with people trying to cut corners and don't want to see you, as a successful, ( and VERY LUCKY at this point ), newbie to fall on your face and go broke.

You are standing on quicksand, bro. Best step to the side for more solid ground, or you are going to sink.

I don't really understand your post.. Are you suggesting to not add backlinks? When you say "Actually, I would highly recommend against dropping seo all together."?

But then you say "My advice is that you start taking seo seriously and begin to impliment it immediately with your site at a high, as once it drops out of the ' new site ' phase in google's system and gets stored as an established site property, your rank will tank."

Made me a bit confused.

Is that really true though? I've spied on competitors websites and they remain stable on the front page with little amounts of backlinks. (50-1000).

I honestly don't think I am standing on quick sand though.. If I was PPC, well I'd definitely be going broke but my methods aren't anything new, its just twisted.

I don't understand what you mean by "cut corners" either, I know what it means but which part of my post am I cutting corners in?

Congrats on your profits i have been struggling to make a dollar on the internet for some time and I keep running into road blocks nothing seems to be profitable I done bought numerous products from these "gurus" and none i repeat none of their bullshit works. im just trying to make a decent living off of this so I can quit my stupid job. And not have to wake up at 5am any more.

Ya thats the plan haha ;) The problem with products is that a lot of the time the methods that are posted in them are older methods which aren't bringing them in the money like they used to.. I suffered from buying a few products which were useless.

In fact, I bought a few products and all, I repeat -ALL, spoke about the same BS. "Go on here, do this, do that, will go viral".. Yeah, and you go on there, and theres 500,000 other people doing the exact same thing, only when he did it, there wasn't such an overload of people.

They still work but its best to always just use it as a template and learn from the little amounts of secrets they give to you. I've still learnt a few things from them but none that have really made me that successful.. Wasn't only until I stepped back, decided what I wanted to do, how I wanted to go about it, etc, where I saw money coming in.. Granted it isn't much, but the point is to first earn even a $1 right?:marchmell

Ya, it was a very good traffic source with a very different niche, but a very good niche.

I cannot give away any secrets as that would dent my earnings at the moment :p but I've made a few posts above, read them, they will be useful for you.

We'll just agree to disagree on this one. No time nor interest in arguing the point. I sincerely hope you can maintain it.
