Another thing you could do is to setup proxychains. When using fast proxies you can get pretty good speeds, you even can integrate tor into it.

Regarding TOR vs VPN vs Proxies:
It depends on your threat model, when you don't really do illegal stuff a VPN or proxies is more than enough imo; it will be much simpler and faster to use.
When you do illegal stuff, you use TOR or I2P, probably with proxies. Keep in mind though triple letter agencies have it not that hard, when you only use TOR, because they own most of the entry and exit nodes.

I have stopped using Tor for about a couple of years. I am now using VPNs only.

I would get a usb, get a specific unix software made for tor. boot from usb, install vpn, install tor, then when i'm done destroy the usb. depending on what i'm doing of course.

Tor doesn't allow you to normally use the web and do any kind of work with any sort of real stability. Tor it's ok if you want to access sensible information, or do something quick online, but it's not ideal for extensive work. For once, it's incredibly slow. Besides, it gets detected as Tor by plenty of sites, and often even blocked. However, it does give you better anonymity. But for general use, VPN is superior.

I want to run an adult website and want to create multiple Facebook and Reddit accounts. Is Mullvad VPN good for it?

And which browser do you think is best: Mullvad's own browser (is it good?), Dolphin Anty (gives 10 free profiles), TOR (a bit slow), or anything else?

Does FB allow you to create accounts from a computer? Seems they blocked that many years ago.
