There is no accountability because there is no vouching system.

I just wanted to buy a service from marketplace and seller messaged back that out of 15 managers in their team 1 of them will reply back to gather details about requirements. Then manager will assign a clerk to email the hr department of 5 women to printout the requirements onto paper, then will scan and email the remote programmer the requirements from office of 28 people staff as per the company internal guidelines. Can the sales person on this forum connect me directly to remote programmer for getting work done?

It's true that there are irrelevant sellers automatically applying for WTB and HAF posts, however, I'm sure that there are also relevant sellers and freelancers manually answering it, it's not like 100% of it are just bots and sellers that can't delivery what you want

I disagree, not all the replies are automated.. There are some good freelancers too..

Just try to distinguish valuable people or things from worthless ones.

Alrighty, so I've taken a read through this thread and have a few things to say:

1. We're aware of the situation in the HAF/WTB sections and it's being worked on.

2. When going through the forum members who respond to a HAF/WTB, do your due diligence. Check out their feedback, check out their posts, see if anyone has said any positive things about them somewhere. Start a DM conversation with them and see how they react. Honestly, even if you had 5 people respond I would hope you're doing all of this instead of blindly sending money for their service!

3. Once again, if you see something that's violating the rules or is spam please hit the report button. There's only a few of us and hundreds of you guys. Reports about things we don't know about really do help us direct our attention more efficiently. AND, responding to a WTB/HAF thread with a service that wasn't even requested could potentially fall under post count spam. Just sayin...
